Turquoise is a rare, blue-to-green mineral, prized for thousands of years as a gemstone for Turquoise Jewelry. It is a hydrated phosphate of copper and aluminum, found in arid, copper producing regions, with colors ranging from sky blue (due to copper) to green (due to iron). The matrix in Turquoise is from remnants of the rock from where the Turquoise was mined. The matrix and color variation in Turquoise are unique to each stone which is why turquoise is the perfect stone for one-of-a-kind turquoise jewelry.

Turquoise has been used for centuries by Native Americans in the American Southwest for turquoise jewelry, ceremonies, and trade including many animal-based jewelry. Turquoise is highly valued by Native American cultures, symbolizing power, protection, and connection to the sky and water. Turquoise is the December birthstone.
